The SAM Atlantic Champion is a free play English pool table that combines contemporary styling with the commercial-grade durability and performance demanded by serious players and busy venues. Built from solid plywood and featuring fully aluminium extruded rails, the Atlantic delivers the precision, consistency, and reliability that have made it a benchmark in competitive English pool.

Its aluminium top rails support the cushions along their entire length, ensuring a consistent ball response on every shot. Combined with SAM’s ProActive cushion system, which precisely profiles the cushions to the rail and delivers a uniform response throughout, the Atlantic offers an exceptionally accurate and predictable playing experience. Many top players compare its cushion response to that of a steel-block snooker table.

Unlike MDF construction commonly used elsewhere in the industry, the Atlantic’s plywood cabinet provides superior strength, durability, and resistance to damp conditions. It is easier to repair if damaged and offers more secure fixings and longer-lasting joints, making it particularly well suited to commercial environments and customers looking for long-term durability.

Every SAM Atlantic Champion is designed with practicality in mind. The table can be levelled quickly and accurately using only a 13mm open-ended spanner, without the need to lift the table or require additional assistance. Carpet-lined internal ball returns help reduce noise during play, making the table equally suitable for homes, clubs, and leisure venues.

Available in a wide range of standard and premium finishes, including Gloss Black and Blue Oak, every Atlantic Champion is built to the same professional specification regardless of appearance.

The Atlantic Champion has been the official table of the BAPTO Pool Finals for over 15 consecutive years and is endorsed by six-time World Champion Mick Hill. As the trusted choice for one of the UK’s most prestigious pool championships, it has earned a reputation for delivering the quality, consistency, and performance expected at the highest levels of English pool.
