Foosball Tables FAQ's
Futbolin is the Spanish style of table football. SAM’s Futbolin tables, such as the Tecno Flame and Tecno Professional, play on a sloping playfield with two-footed metal players fixed to solid steel rods. A heavy resin ball makes for a fast, loud game, and thanks to the slope the ball always stays in play.
The SAM Tecno Flame has an illuminated playfield and cabinet lights that change colour by remote control, while the SAM Arena adds RGB lighting, goal music, and a scoreboard at each end. From Toulet, the Blackball has LED pitch lighting and touch-sensitive LED scoring with automatic goal detection, and the T22 can be ordered with LED lighting, Bluetooth speakers, and electronic scoring.
Many of them can. The Toulet T22 comes in over 500 paint colours, plus 20 colours for the pitch and 60 for the lines, and can carry your favourite team’s or player’s strip. The Le Sian also comes in more than 500 colours, with a matte or glossy metallic finish, and the Le Specialist Classique can have personalised players or a decal with your company’s image.
Most of our coin-operated tables are made by SAM, including the SAM Arena, a flagship table designed for coin-operated play. Both Tecno models, the Professional and the Flame, have two coin mechanisms, and the Flame is contactless capable for cashless payments. The Tempo Evo has an electronic coin acceptor and a large removable coin box, and is made for outdoor sites. Toulet’s restored 1950s Vintage table also has a coin mechanism, as the originals did.
It depends on the table. The Buffalo Winner, Shoot, and Explorer come with black and white 31mm balls, and Toulet’s Le Specialist Classique, Le Specialist Urban, T11, and Vintage tables each come with 11 cork balls. SAM’s Futbolin tables use resin balls. For replacements, our table football spares include plastic balls from 32mm to 36mm, 35mm cork balls, and genuine SAM resin balls.
Yes. You can visit our showroom in Coventry, and it’s worth calling 024 7646 1234 first to check which foosball tables are on display that week. The showroom is at Atlantic House, Falkland Close, Coventry, CV4 8AU, and is open Monday to Saturday.
Think about who will play, how often, and how much space there is. A family games room and a busy bar need very different tables, especially in the rods and the build. Our table football buying guide goes through sizes, room space, solid and telescopic rods, and budgets, using real measurements from the tables we sell.
