At SAM Leisure, we’ve always taken pride in supplying quality leisure products – from commercial pool tables to home games rooms tables – with a focus on durability, quality and service. Now, we’re proud to take our commitment to responsibility one step further by investing in renewable energy to reduce our carbon footprint.
We’ve recently completed the installation of a new solar power system at our Coventry facility, made up of 60 high-performance 500W DMEGC panels. This setup is supported by a SolarEdge 33.3kW 3-phase Hybrid Inverter, allowing us to harness and manage solar energy more efficiently throughout our operations.
This project marks a significant step in our sustainability journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from Coventry City Council and Jonathan Howl from the Decarbonisation Net Zero Programme, whose grant funding played a pivotal role in making this possible.
The installation was carried out by the expert team at Leaf Renewable Energy Ltd, based in nearby Leamington Spa. Their professionalism and dedication ensured a smooth delivery from planning through to completion, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
By investing in solar, SAM Leisure is reducing its reliance on fossil fuels, lowering energy costs, and playing our part in tackling climate change. It’s not just good for the planet – it’s the right thing to do for the future of our business and our community. We have also installed two 22kw onsite electric car chargers.
